Cat Litter Container Loading: What to Confirm
Use confirmed carton and pallet data to plan loading. Avoid assuming a standard bag count fits every container.
Start with the approved packaging
Confirm net weight per bag, bags per carton, carton outer dimensions and carton gross weight. If pallets are used, confirm the pallet type, cartons per layer, layers per pallet and overall loaded height. These are shipment inputs, not estimates to copy from another product.
Review space and weight separately
A loading plan may be limited by weight, available volume, pallet arrangement or handling rules. The same bag count can produce a different result when the carton dimensions or product density changes. Ask the forwarder to review the confirmed packing basis before a booking.
Prepare the loading information
| Buyer decision | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Bag & carton | Net weight, bag count, outer dimensions and gross weight. |
| Pallet | Footprint, tare weight, stack arrangement and loaded height. |
| Shipment | Destination, container type, quantity and handling requirements. |
| Documents | Consistent carton totals, weights and descriptions across the order and packing list. |
Document the actual shipment
Use packing records and loading photographs to describe what was shipped. Do not turn an illustrative loading diagram into a promise of container capacity. Record any agreed changes before issuing final documents.
Align the quotation with the loading basis
Ask for carton and pallet data at the quotation stage if freight cost determines your product decision. Reconfirm the information after final artwork and packaging approval.
