PREMIER / B2B CAT LITTER
How to Evaluate a Cat Litter Supplier
Compare evidence, sample handling and commercial clarity before approving a cat litter supplier.
Make the shortlist useful
Identify the format your range needs and send the same brief to each supplier. Compare the response to your questions, the specification provided and the ability to explain the sample. Category labels and a low headline price are not enough to establish suitability.
Check product evidence
Request an identified sample and instructions. Evaluate pouring, odor management, scooping and box compatibility under stated conditions. For a health monitoring product, review the chart and monitoring limitation as part of the sample approval.
Verify business and document scope
Check the contracting company and the documents relevant to the order. If certifications or tests are presented, review scope, issuer and validity. Do not infer a factory relationship, manufacturing capacity or a current customer endorsement from a photograph or brand name.
Compare the complete quotation
- Product specification and approved sample reference.
- Packaging, label and carton configuration.
- Order quantity, MOQ and price basis.
- Delivery destination, quoted terms and schedule.
- Documentation and agreed checks before dispatch.
Ask how differences will be resolved
Agree who receives sample feedback and how a specification or artwork change is recorded. A clear written review process reduces uncertainty between the buying team and supplier. Keep the final approved version with the order.
